We protect the rights of migrants
The Sub-Saharan Migrants Council Association in Morocco (CMSM) was established following the tragic events in Ceuta and Melilla on September 28 and 29, 2005. These tragedies, marked by human losses among sub-Saharan migrants and violations of fundamental rights, revealed the urgency of collective action. On November 10, 2005, the CMSM was created to defend the rights of migrants in collaboration with Moroccan and international associations.
We work for:
- The promotion and protection of the rights of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers.
- The fight against discrimination, racism, and all forms of violence against migrants.
- Support for the integration and regularization of migrants.
- The strengthening of brotherhood between sub-Saharan and Moroccan communities through sociocultural activities.
- Support for vulnerable individuals, particularly pregnant women and unaccompanied children.
- Raising awareness about health, children's rights, and the prevention of risky behaviors.

We believe in the dignity, freedom, and safety of every human being, in accordance with the principles of international legal instruments:
- The Universal Declaration of Human Rights,
- The Geneva Convention relating to refugees,
- The African Charter on Human Rights,
- The Convention on the Rights of the Child.
